We can say shortly as CMS .A CMS is a collection of procedures. It’s using for managing and controlling the dynamic web contents. We can allow for large number of people to contribute to and share stored data, control access to data, based on user roles, User roles are used to define each use as to what information they can view or edit, aid in easy storage and retrieval of data, reduce repetitive duplicate input, improve the ease of report writing, improve the ease of report writing.

In a CMS, data can be defined as almost anything – documents, movies, pictures, phone numbers, scientific data, etc. CMSs are frequently used for storing, controlling, revising, and publishing documentation. Content that is controlled is industry-specific. There are 6 main categories of CMS. Enterprise CMS, Web CMS, Document Management System, Component Content Management System, Media Content Management System.

Here some examples for Content management System. Drupal, Joomla, OS commerce, Zen cart.etc. Very easy to developing shopping carts, web based programs, dynamic web pages. For an example if we developing a dynamic web using drupal, we can download the themes (templates),modules for our need.
